If At First You Don’t Suceed…Yeah You Know

Almost in the palm of my hand

It slips through my fingers like grains of sand

Yet I give it the old college try without a degree 

Try, try, try, until you suceed

Positive thoughts and affirmations I speak

Reading the scriptures for a spiritual tweak

Hop on one leg and stand on one hand

Pilates, yoga and doing the best that I can

Brain power churning 

Will power burning 

The little train that could

Persevering as I should

Turning that frown upside down

Out smiling most mimes and clowns

“Oh, hello there!” Now go on and have a good day

Neither let man, beast or silly things stand in your way
