Not With Sight

One foot in front of the other

Carefully measured

Step by step

Believing your foot will touch safely

God provides balance

Even when you lean out of step

Faith asks you to believe without seeing

One step at a time

  1. “Faith asks you to believe without seeing”.
Excellent… These verses make more sense than logical arguments.
Great poem, Syl… Best wishes to you!, Aquileana 😀

    1. Thank you B! Slight pain in my lower abdomen. I believe it is because I wasn’t able to eat anything solid for about four days. I’ve been trying to eat small portions to get my stomach use to solid food again. Chills, headaches, and body pain gone. Should be back very soon. Smiles

  2. Checking in on you, too, Sylvester! Sorry you are unwell but grateful you are taking time to care for yourself. While I can’t write a poem for you, here is a quote that I hope comforts and inspires:

“Prayer is an act of love; words are not needed. Even if sickness distracts from thoughts, all that is needed is the will to love.” ~ Saint Teresa of Avila

You’re love continues on and my prayers are with you ❤

    1. Thank you Angie, I am actually starting to feel a heck of a lot better. I can actually think and focus. It was some weird bug I caught that put me out of action. Thank you for your prayers, support, and love. I’m posting in a few seconds…..much love ❤
