Designed To Shine

Matthew 5:14 – 16:  14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Let your light shine

You were designed to shine

There is a gift inside of you

A talent given for all the world to see

No need to feel bashful or ashamed

God proclaimed you wonderful from the start

You are a such a unique work of art

Hand crafted and one of a kind

No matter how many similarities you find in another

There is no other like you

If only everyone could recognize their own light

Humanity would never know darkness, again

Let your light shine

You were designed to do so

  1. This poem is most beautiful, Syl. This is exactly it! We come down here and forget our light. We are about to rediscover during our life. The sooner we remember the more wonderful we can live our lives. The insights are lying in remembering our light… step by step, revealing our true light with all we are going through!
