Romantic Tuesday: Not Without You

As we turned our faces towards the sun

Feeling its warmth on our skin

Silently pondering “what if you were not here?”

Would the sun have its same glow?

In the shadow of loneliness

Would either of us even notice?

Embracing one another a little tighter

We recall a life live before we met

The routine of daily motions

Counterfeit happiness

The sky looks so beautiful

Full of dreams waiting to be fulfilled

The window to the glass ceiling is wide open

We only need to reach up high

Embracing one another a little tighter

Pondering….

“What if you were not here?”

Promising….

To hold dearly to what is real, you and I

Vowing….

To love

  1. You got me lost in that pondering…. this is amazingly beautiful, Sylvester. Such a fantastic take for this Tuesday. It is a good thing that “what if…” question. How much more grateful we are then!

  2. Beautiful, as always and the image fits so well! Amazing colors! πŸ™‚

  3. `Embracing one another a little tighter

I love those verses… That is what I would call platonic love… before and after death… in spite of death
Sending best wishes, Syl— have a great almost weekend ahead. Aquileana πŸ™‚
