Gracious Sanctuary

In the refuge of thankfulness I now rest

Though the soul may be weary

Life burns graciously

I have never doubted God’s grace and mercy

Do not let your heart be saddened

Or your eyes fill with pools of the ocean we love so dear

I have not been called to where you hear the echoes of lions roaring

The sun still beams upon my path

I engage the day, ferocious in spirit

Leaving nothing inside, nothing wasted

Challenges rise and fall

All will be faced

Mortality looms behind lost moonlight

When ghosts roam the jungle

Where you hear the echoes of roaring

In you, there is a connecting flame

In this refuge of thankfulness

There are not enough words
