Monday Thoughts: A Bashing Good Evening

Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.

The blogger bash (U.S.) happened this past Saturday evening after some last minute shuffling. Thank you to Lisa https://lifeofanelpasowoman.com/about-me/ for sticking with organizing the bash.

It was not a blow out, sound the trumpets extravaganza. Instead it became a get together for three bloggers in the spirit of friendship.

Erika https://erikakind.me/ and myself came to Wildfire restaurant in Schaumburg, IL. not knowing what to expect.

In literally a sea of noise at this busy and huge restaurant, we found a tiny island in the center of it all. We shared blogging, life stories and some darn good food (I believe we were all stuffed). It was nice to meet two of my fellow bloggers in person and be in the midst of good vibes. As quick as we greeted one another we were bidding each other farewell, time standing still yet the moment passing by.

The world is a huge place but sometimes it can be very small and that’s not a bad thing, especially when you’re in the company of good friends.

Salutations.
