#MondayThoughts: I’ve Got Your Back

Isn’t it an amazing feeling to know you have people in your life that have your back? They stand with you through thick and thin and are not afraid to show you some tough love when needed.

It could be a family member or members, friends, co-workers or just that special someone in your life who delivers a daily dose of feel good to let you know they are there for you. Let’s face it, we are living in some very harsh times. We have all experienced our fair share of days when it feels like the life has been sucked out of you, or stress and pressure are relentlessly squeezing you mentally and spiritually. Health issues reminding you of your mortality. We have all been there.

On these occasion, hasn’t there been someone who has either said or did something that has given us the lift we needed to stay hopeful (no matter how feint). That unconditional support that spoke volumes in saying “I’m going to help you get through this and you will get through this.” No one is an island unless they choose to float alone.

Isn’t it wonderful to know that someone has got your back?

Stay inspired and keep rising.

  1. It is most wonderful, Sylvester, and so is the whole post. Yes, life can throw green lemons at you but knowing that there is someone helping you to withstand that lemon rain gives you the power to make. It fills the heart with so much confidence… such a power.
