I choose to take control

Hardships and heartaches

Disappointments and heartbreaks

Won’t make me spiral out of control

We are a marvel of a species

Full of hope, dreams and wonder

We are earth and sun

Moon and stars

Clouds, rain and thunder

Life is a gift

We are souls shaped by experiences

Day in and day out

We walk the trails laid out

We touch other lives along the way

Together we are the makeup of this world

Undivided and divided

Individually and collectively

We are life

You are wonderful

You are marvelous

And this is your life
