All too often

Hate takes center stage

Vile and despicable actions

Oppression and prejudice spread like a virus

Hate infiltrates the heart and poisons the spirit

But we can overcome hate with an infusion of love

This world is in need of a love transfusion

To cleanse itself of hate and confusion

So the earth can spin properly on its axis

And love can take center stage
