#RomanticTuesday: Your Lovely Ways

“Like sapphire blue, you are simply mesmerizing.

You know, I really love your ways

In all days you bring something special

Like an added tint to the sun

Like an enhanced scent of a rose

How you deliver a kiss to my nose

Like I said, something special

Never, ever change your ways

And I will never chisel away at who you are

Only appreciate you more with each passing day

No shortage of love for You and Your ways

#MondayThoughts: The Endurance Test

A man on a thousand mile walk has to forget his goal and say to himself every morning, ‘Today I’m going to cover twenty-five miles and then rest up and sleep.

Times we must endure

The valley of the shadows

Hope is the compass

Rock Ballad of the Week: Robert Plant and Jimmy Page “Thank You”

If the sun refused to shine
I would still be loving you
When mountains crumble to the sea
There will still be you and me

Kind woman, I give you my all
Kind woman, nothing more

Little drops of rain whisper of the pain
Tears of loves lost in the days gone by
My love is strong, with you there is no wrong
Together we shall go until we die
My, my, my inspiration is what you are to me
Inspiration look, see

And so today, my world it smiles
Your hand in mine, we walk the miles
Thanks to you it will be done
For you to me are the only one
Happiness, no more be sad

Happiness, I’m glad

If the sun refused to shine
I would still be loving you
Mountains crumble to the sea
There will still be you and me

No Quarter is a live album by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, both formerly of English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released by Atlantic Records on 14 October 1994. The long-awaited reunion between Jimmy Page and Robert Plant occurred on a 90-minute “UnLedded” MTV project, recorded in MoroccoWales, and London. It was not a reunion of Led Zeppelin, however, as former bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones was not present. In fact, Jones was not even told about the reunion by his former bandmates. He later commented that he was unhappy about Plant and Page naming the album after “No Quarter“, a Led Zeppelin song which was largely his work.

#RomanticTuesday: Lost In Your Eyes

But I love your feet
only because they walked
upon the earth and upon
the wind and upon the waters,
until they found me.

I miss you

I miss the scent of every strand of your hair

And how the sound of your laugh echoes contagiously

There are so many things you do that give me a reason to smile

I miss glancing and catching you being freely you

Connecting with and brightening all that surrounds you

Clasped hands lead to an embrace

As we trace the shape of a heart in the sky

Our love has no boundaries as it reaches far and wide

I miss getting lost in your eyes

I am completely fascinated with all that I find

With everything that links our hearts and minds

I miss sharing the stars with you at night

And falling asleep with you in my sights

In those moments all is right

We are two in a world of billions

Yet we are One when it comes to Love

I miss You
