#RomanticTuesday: Hello, Love

It is never a chore to love you. It is an honor and privilege.”

Shifting tides and times

Seasons pass one to the next

Love never changes

Hello, love

I hope these words find you well and they find their way into your heart and nestle there. I have seen many days with the absence of you physically and the sounds of our voices brought to a whisper. Yet, my heart only emraces you stronger and my love for you becomes richer and deeper in depth. Hopefully my love will always bring warmth to your heart and soul.

Today there is love

In this moment you are loved

Love never changes

#MondayThoughts: (Side note)

When it feels like the world is dragging you down

And there appears to be no signs of life pulsating

When you feel like there’s no real reason to go on

Throw all that shit out the window

Just say “fuck it!”

And keep moving on

Believe that no matter how the road twists or turns, it gets better along the way and for every bump in the road, there is a double blessing ahead. Everything will be alright.

#MondayThoughts: Stressors

If you really want to escape the things that harass you, what you’re needing is not to be in a different place but to be a different person.

Life is filled with stressors and they can be laid out like landmines. The question is not knowing if we will react but how we choose to react.

At the workplace, at home, out in the general public, at school, the stressors are all around. They can send us in a tailspin emotionally if triggered. We do our best to maintain our stability but as we know we are all human and as strong as we believe we are, we can be just as vulnerable.

We must have a pie. Stress cannot exist in the presence of a pie.

– David Mamet

Find what helps you best cope with and overcome stress. Prayer, meditation, exercise, music, writing, reading, singing and the countless number of ways to handle stress. Most importantly, pause before you react (if possible) because that small delay might help you from derailing emotionally.

Oh, have a slice of pie, my treat.

*Stay inspired and keep rising

#ThoughtfulThursday Two: Soul Connections

Soul connections are not often found and are worth every bit of fight left in you to keep.

There are those souls

Who become so intertwined

That there is an intimate and beautiful language communicated between them

Beyond the spoken/written word

Awareness of the other’s presence

The vibrations of living light

Traveling outside of time and distance

Turn It Up

The darker the times

The brighter you shine

Illuminate intensely

Illuminate immensely

God made stars to shine

Don’t shut your light down

Turn it up

And get your shine on!

Rock Ballad Of The Week: Chicago “Just Say You’ll Love Me”

Take me as I am
Put your hand in mine now and forever
Darling here I stand, stand before you now
Deep inside I always knew
It was you, you and me
Two hearts drawn together bound by destiny
It was you and you for me
Every road leads to your door
Every step I take forever more

[Chorus:]
Just say you’ll love me for the rest of your life
I gotta lot of love and I don’t want to let go
Will you still love me for the rest of my life?
‘Cause I can’t go on
No, I can’t go on
I can’t go on
If I’m on my own

Take me as I am
Put your heart in mine, stay with me forever
‘Cause I am just a man who never understood
I never had a thing to prove
Till there was you
You and me
Then it all came clear so suddenly
How close to you that I wanna be

[Chorus]

[Bridge:]
Do you believe a love could run so strong?
Do you believe a love could pass you by?
There was no special one for me
I was the lonely one, you see
But then my heart lost all control
Now you’re all that I know

‘Cause I can’t go on
No, I can’t go on
I can’t go on
If I’m on my own

Chicago is an American rock band formed in 1967 in Chicago, Illinois, calling themselves the Chicago Transit Authority in 1968 before shortening the name in 1969. The self-described “rock and roll band with horns” blended elements of classical music, jazz, R&B, and pop music. They began writing songs with politically charged lyrics, and later moved to a softer sound, generating several hit ballads. The group had a steady stream of hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In September 2008, Billboard ranked Chicago at number thirteen in a list of the top 100 artists of all time for Hot 100 singles chart success, and ranked them at number fifteen on the same list produced in October 2015. Billboard also ranked Chicago ninth on the list of the 100 greatest artists of all time in terms of Billboard 200 album chart success in October 2015. Chicago is one of the longest-running and most successful rock groups, and one of the world’s best-selling groups of all time, having sold more than 100 million records. In 1971, Chicago was the first rock act to sell out Carnegie Hall for a week.
