#RomanticTuesday: Kissing Clouds

Without you in the frame, there really is no picture.”

bali-beach-blue-982673

With a ribbon of love wrapped around our wrists

Hands clasped firmly

Ocean gazing

All of this is so amazing

Here we are

Drawing connecting hearts in the sand

Our initials in the middle

We are infinite, my dear

Linked together by love

We disappear

Reappearing as kissing clouds

Looking down

We could swear the ocean is smiling

And we just float away

No glass ceiling in the way

We are infinite, my dear

Infinite, my love

#RomanticTuesday: For Us, For You

The highest function of love is that it makes the loved one a unique and irreplaceable being

Tom Robbins, Jitterbug Perfume

To wake up and pull you closer

Morning after morning and know it’s not a dream

A point in time we long to reach

Through whatever may come and whatever may be

I will go through it all and stand up to all

To see our dreams become a reality

To see this beautiful way of living together

No amount of time can make me second guess

It is you I want to paint on this blank canvass with

I hope my words still touch you as soft as feathers

And free you from gravity a little each day

You do this and more for me in unexplainable ways

So whatever may come and whatever may be

I will go through it all

Stand up to all

All for us

All for you

#RomanticTuesday: Cosmic Union

pexels-photo-1121472

Calibrated perfectly

A love created for you and for me

More than we could ever hope for

More than we could ever dream

I could not imagine this life without you by my side

Echoes of memories never made

Long awaiting moments that only fade away

So I do my all to give you this love unrestrained

Unlimited, uncapped an unconditional

Time operates on a temporary stage

But our union in this love is a permanent fixture

Never to be broken

Never to change

The Incarnate Poem (revisited)

When life is breathed into written words, they manifest into something so much more than thoughts and ink… – Syl

36250f21678d84f384b9948eb875d6cb--chinese-wedding-tea-ceremony-white-chinese-wedding-dressYou manifest yourself from my words

The incarnate poem, I write each day

You are a descendant from the rib of the first man

Equal in stature

Never looked upon as second class

Your elegance raises the hairs upon my skin

Your essence skims along the surface of my soul

You bring forth bold words from a humble heart

Through the eyes of God

I see and understand your true beauty

Inner light that glimmers on my brown eyes

Word for word

You form the soul of the poetry

Released letter by letter

From within my heart

*

From within my heart

I offer what I can

I offer what I understand and comprehend

of love

Words relate part of this saga

Penned from my soul and pinned to yours

There they reside and live forever

A living poem connecting souls

Connecting minds

Connecting hearts

Letter by letter

Breathing inside us

Half Past The Hour

Lingering last words

Morph into evening daydreams

The world outside my window stands still

Or maybe it cannot hold my attention, like you do

Looking at the night to come

I peruse the channels, hoping for something entertaining

A sigh is my companion this evening

So are you, in thought

All is relative

#WorldPoetryDay 1

there are some poems that we leave behind

some that leave us behind

while some just live

silently

in the heart

crumble, sometimes
dwindle

disappear

die

and are reborn
when you smile again.

– Sanober Khan, Turquoise Silence

And with great detail

I pulled the feelings from my heart

And typed them carefully onto the page

Only to take the poem and swallow it

In hopes that better words would grow

Her radiance was indescribable

Holding Up

grass-1694293_1280

When the fog clears

We will really see clearly

Just how we held each other up

Finding strength in the words we shared

We knew going in it wouldn’t be easy

The ever shifting winds have yet to blow us away

Seems they have only brought us closer
